Joann Griggs
Joann Marie Griggs was born June 4, 1956 in Oregon City, Oregon. She passed away August 27, 2015 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Joann grew up in Clackamas, OR and graduated from Clackamas High School in 1974. Joann had an adventuresome spirit. She lived in Brazil, Hawaii, several places in Oregon, ending up in Scottsdale, AZ. At the time of her passing she was working for Discount Tire corporate office. Joann is survived by her mother Barbara Donaldson, brother Larry Griggs and wife Laurel, brother Tom Griggs and wife Janice, nephews Bryan (Tricia), Jeff (Jen), Andrew, Noah Griggs, and nieces Darla (Kyle) Rowton Griggs and Rachel Griggs, and 4 great nieces and two great nephews. Joann dearly loved her cats Abby and Punky. Services for Joann will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 East Pinnacle Peak Road, Scottsdale AZ. Contributions can be made to the Foothills Animal Rescue, Scottsdale, AZ. Jo, we love you and will miss you.
