Jeanne Margaret Clark Peters, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2016 in Scottsdale, Arizona after an eight year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born May 6, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William and Emma Clark, she was a graduate of Collingswood (NJ) High School ('60), Muhlenberg College ('64) and Seton Hall University (Masters '86). On June 18, 1966, she married the love of her life, John E. Peters.
She lived in many places including; Philadelphia, PA, Oaklyn and Haddonfield, NJ, Latham Village, NY, Parma and Rocky River, OH, Basking Ridge and Ocean City, NJ and retired in Scottsdale, AZ.
Jeanne was a creative elementary school teacher in both South and North Jersey for over twenty years. She held a Master Degree in Special Education.

She will be especially remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother and enthusiastic Gammie along with her lively attitude, generous spirit and passion for music performance. She loved sports, reading, walking on the boardwalk and being with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, John; her son Bill Peters (Coto De Caza, CA); her daughter Lori Peters McClure (Collegeville, PA) her grandchildren; Liam McClure, Caitlyn McClure, Steven Peters, Tyler Peters, Brayden Peters, and Colby Peters and her sister Joyce Clark (Westmoreland, NH).
Services in celebration of Jeanne's life will be held at two locations: Pennsylvania and Arizona,
In Pennsylvania on Saturday, February 20th; Visitation 1:30pm and Memorial Service 2:00 pm at Hope Community Church, 150 E. Beidler Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406
In Arizona, Monday, February 29th; Visitation 10:30am and Memorial Service 11:00 am at Desert View Bible Church, 105 West Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85096
Relatives and friends are welcome at both services. A reception will be held at both locations immediately following the service.
