In loving memory of Hunter Zachary Votaw, 21, of Cave Creek, AZ, a young life suddenly taken from his family and friends on April 30th, 2016 as a result of an off-roading accident.
Hunter Zachary came into this world October 1st, 1994, son to Michelle McDougall and Rick Votaw, and baby brother to Tyler and Dylan. Being the 3rd of three boys Hunter had to learn to keep up with his on-the-go big brothers right from the get go and was a natural Desert kid. Hunter grew from a happy, adventurous little boy into a fun-loving, nature loving outdoorsman. Hunter loved his time spent fishing, hunting, camping, at the lake surrounded by his family and friends. A theme that was carried through from the beginning of his life to the last day he was here with us.

Hunter Zachary came into this world October 1st, 1994, son to Michelle McDougall and Rick Votaw, and baby brother to Tyler and Dylan. As many of those who knew Hunter know, even at such a young age Hunter had already had to overcome many personal obstacles and physical challenges. Hunter perservered, grew and adapted in a capacity and with a grace and maturity beyond his years and always with a heartfelt smile. He had a love and loyalty for his family and friends that was beyond measure. Hunter was very close to his big brothers, Tyler and Dylan, a loving and devoted son, grandson, cousin, nephew, friend to so many and a long-time partner and boyfriend to his love, Celia Gurgoze.
Hunter has a very close and loving family, he is survived by his mother Michelle, father, Rick, brothers Tyler and Dylan, his grandparents, Norman McDougall, Connie Tomlin, Bill and Nancy Votaw, along with his large extended family and countless friends who will miss his humor, wit, love of life, love of all things nature and ability to make everything an adventure.
